During the meeting held between the Oromia State University and Oromia Job Creation and Vocational Bureau, regarding the preparation of the Inception Report, an extensive discussion was conducted on the research titled ‘Assessing the Effectiveness of the Technical and Vocational System in the Oromia Region.’
At this event, the President of OSU, Dr. Geremew Huluka welcomed the guests and stated that the discussion held today between the two institutions plays a significant role in ensuring effectiveness, strengthening implementation, and bringing fundamental transformation in work systems.
On the other hand, the Head of the Oromia Job Creation and Vocational Bureau, Engineer Eba Gerba, explained that the research is crucial for identifying trainees’ needs, strengthening the structure of technical and vocational education, establishing quality training based on research findings, and ensuring that graduates become competitive in the job market.
