President Office

The Office of the President at Oromia State University provides strategic leadership and governance, ensuring the institution achieves its mission and vision. It oversees ten key directorates, each responsible for specific institutional functions. These include the Internal Audit Directorate, which ensures financial accountability; the Directorate of Ethics Monitoring and Promotion, which upholds integrity; and the Directorate of Women, Youth, and Children, which focuses on inclusivity and empowerment. The Directorate of Communications and Public Relations manages the university’s public image, while the Directorate of Planning, Monitoring, and Review ensures institutional progress. Additionally, the Directorate of Organizational Quality Assurance and the Directorate of Organizational Transition and Good Governance focus on maintaining academic and administrative excellence. The Legal Service Directorate provides legal guidance, and the Office of Construction and Infrastructure Projects oversees campus development initiatives.
