The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Oromia State University is responsible for overseeing the university’s academic programs, ensuring quality education, and managing faculty and student services. It supervises four colleges and two schools, along with key directorates, including the Office of the Registrar, which handles student records and registration; the Directorate of Academic Affairs Staff, which oversees faculty development; and the Directorate of Education Standards and Quality Enhancement, which ensures academic excellence. Additionally, the office manages Postgraduate Studies Coordination, Continuing and Distance Education, and the Library and Documentation Directorate, all working together to enhance the university’s academic environment.
