Office of the Vice President for Research, Training and Public Service Reform
The Office of the Vice President for Research, Training and Public Service Reform at Oromia State University is dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and public sector transformation. It oversees seven institutes and directorates, including the Institute for Research and Development of Oromo Language, Arts, and Culture, which promotes cultural studies; the Institute for Public Sector Reform and Human Resource Development, which focuses on governance improvements; and the Institute for Economic and Financial Research, which conducts economic policy studies. Additionally, the office manages the Institute for Policy, Social and Legal Studies, the Institute for Innovation and Technology Development, the Human Resource Performance Certification Institute, and the Directorate of Research Affairs and Social Services, all working to support evidence-based policymaking and service reform.
